There are several variations on an ancient tale that nine hazel trees grew around a sacred pool, dropping nuts into the water to be eaten by some salmon (a fish revered by Druids) which thereby absorbed the wisdom. The number of bright spots on the salmon were said to indicate how many nuts they had eaten. When we look to the ancient stories of Celtic lore, we hear tales of how the Hazel is associated with wisdom and inspiration. This sacred tree is said to be cloaked in a powerful magic which can imbue those who eat its fruit. Labradorite is a powerful stone of magic, offering us protection well aligning with the chakras that relate to the colors of light the stone holds. All Nests are coated in resin multiple times, making the waterproof. However they shouldn't be worn in hot water as the wood will swell, lifting the resin.

No two Spirit Nests will ever be alike, just like no two people are ever completely alike. Each nest has its own unique qualities from the trees and stones. Trees similar to our thoughts start as a small seed. Sending roots deep into our being and a massive canopy over us, either empowering or crippling us. Stones similar to our emotions, form under different pressures and conditions giving them their own unique beautiful and dangerous qualities.
