Western hemlock is a large tree that thrives in the costal mountains of bc. A highly valued building and crafting resource. The wood is soft and workable, the bark can be braided for rope and a red dye can be extracted. Energetically it aids us create ways to enrich our lives. All Nests are coated in resin multiple times, making the waterproof. However they shouldn't be worn in hot water as the wood will swell, lifting the resin.
