The number of bright spots on the salmon were said to indicate how many nuts they had eaten. When we look to the ancient stories of Celtic lore, we hear tales of how the Hazel is associated with wisdom and inspiration. This sacred tree is said to be cloaked in a powerful magic which can imbue those who eat its fruit. Larimar is said to enlighten and heal in a physical, emotional, mental and spiritual way.  All Nests are coated in resin multiple times, making the waterproof. However they shouldn't be worn in hot water as the wood will swell, lifting the resin.
