Western hemlock is a large tree that thrives in the costal mountains of bc. A highly valued building and crafting resource. The wood is soft and workable, the bark can be braided for rope and a red dye can be extracted.  Ruby encourages joy, spontaneity, laughter and courage. It promotes positive dreams and stimulates the pineal gland. Aids in retaining wealth and passion. Ruby aids the removal of negative energies from your path. All Nests are coated in resin multiple times, making the waterproof. However they shouldn't be worn in hot water as the wood will swell, lifting the resin.
